Monday & Friday Zoom Class Times are for all grades and start promptly at 2:00 pm Monday and Friday. I will have a lesson, demo or directed draw which may need to be turned in. At 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm we can focus on individual questions, long term assignments, and time similar to Paint Club. Assignment can be turned in to Google Drive or Email to me.

All students: Please sign in to the Zoom Chat Monday and Friday: First & Last name and Grade. I may have a project that will need to be turned in (to Google Drive or Email) to me at the end of that day.

Assignment for the week of May 18 - May 22:

  • All Grades: I have created a Google Classroom so you can find Zoom info and turn in assignments. Email me for the classroom code.  This is optional, but a lot of you requested it so I built it
  • Assignment: This week you have the choice of doing one or both of the following assignments: Still Life Drawing (or Painting) or Robot Skeleton and Creature Creation. Details will be given on Monday's Zoom meeting. Zoom Class Time start promptly at 2:00 pm Monday and Friday. I will have a lesson, demo or directed draw which may need to be turned in.

ZOOM invitation: Sent in email by your classroom coordinator on May 9, 10 or 11.

Zoom Class Time: Students are to attend these zoom class times.  I will be doing a directed draw, related to the weekly projects, and also answering questions about this weeks assignment.
 
Art Club Open Office Hours are optional and are just extra art time... for fun. This time is dedicated to students with questions and those that just want to draw and get in additional art time.  If you don't want to draw alone, join us and draw with us, it's a more fun way to do art.

Archived Assignments:

May 11 - May 15: Creatures Block-in Bootcamp: Envelope and Block-in all 9 of these creatures, take a picture and in (to Google Drive or Email). Long Term Projects for 7th and 8th grades were due May 15!

May 4 - 8: Pet Portraits: Drawing pictures of your pet or of some else’s pets can be a wonderful way to make a gift for someone you care about or preserving a memory.

April 27 - May 1: Tree house Project: Draw a tree house using your imagination or multiple references from online. Be creative and inventive. Turn in to Google Drive or Email by Friday 9:00 am.

April 20 - 24: Landscape project: Find a reference of a landscape and block-in a drawing and then shade or color it. Demonstrate composition and use of contrast to make your drawing interesting. This must be turned in (Google Drive or Email) by Thursday 9:00 am.
